Flight school

Training

The biggest advantage we offer at ExactAir is that the company has its own training school. This allows, among other things, to hire graduates from this same school. From the first meeting, we establish a personalized training plan adapted to your needs. Whether to become a leisure pilot or for a quick job in the field, we adapt the timetable to your schedule and we offer you the chance to follow, individually or semi-individually, a flight traing course. Learn in a familial, professional and respectful environment while rubbing shoulders with regular charter and aerial work operations.

Medical certificate

Before starting your training, you will need to pass a medical examination with a Transport Canada certified medical examiner in order to obtain your medical certificate of a class appropriate for the license you intend to acquire. Although it is possible for you to start your flights without this certificate, you will not be able to fly solo and this could delay your training.

The airport

Saint-Honoré Airport (CYRC) has a control tower, three runways arranged in a triangle (the longest is 6,085 ') and a flight training area located on the edge of the airport area, which reduces travel time. Since we are close to the Bagotville base (Saguenay-Bagotville Airport CYBG), we have access to full coverage for instrument flights and we have a large number of different approaches.

Type of license

Recreational pilot permit

Skills

The leisure pilot can fly in Canada, during the day only, in visual flight conditions with an airplane with four seats maximum and accompanied by a single passenger. No qualification can be affixed to this permit except the annotation of a seaplane. Contrary to popular belief, no distance limit is imposed on its owner as long as the aircraft is registered and it flies in Canada.

If the candidate has a license obtained in another ICAO member country, he can convert it within approximately one month. All hours flown in Canada or in another country may be taken into account in the calculation of the personalized quote, provided that they are certified as compliant and that the minimums required by Transport Canada are met.

You can add all the qualifications to this license: instrument flight, multi-engine, night flight, etc. It is indeed the professional license and the qualifications mentioned above which open the doors to you to find a job. The night flight qualification is usually included in our professional flight training quotes, although it is not mentioned.
